The story opens with Madame Boss talking to Miyamoto, who is her best member. (Miyamoto is probably in her late teens or early twenties.) They have a tape of Mew, recorded in the Andes Mountains, and Madame Boss tells Miyamoto to check it out and find Mew. Miyamoto goes home to her husband and daughter, Jessie, telling them of this latest mission. Worried about this, Jessie, who is very young, begins to cry a lot. The mission is potentially dangerous, I suppose. Miyamoto has a photo of her husband, but wants one of Jessie to take with her. As Jessie will not stop crying, that is her pose in the photo. In the Andes, Miyamoto has been looking for some time, in vain. As she is becoming disheartened, Mew appears! Miyamoto is ecstatic... but then Mew disappears. Before she can properly wonder where it got to, she hears a rumbling in the mountains. She screams as she is caught in the onslaught of an avalanche... and that is the last heard of her.
